| Robert Forte is a Senior Research Analyst with DGI’s Center for Intelligence and Research Analysis in Washington, D.C. His primary areas of expertise include technology transfer to China, Chinese military developments and Chinese defense and security policy issues. Mr. Forte has extensive military experience in the Far East having served in Thailand, Singapore, Republic of Korea, Japan and China where he served as a U.S. Naval Attache. His policy experience includes service on the Staff of Secretary of Defense, East Asia Pacific and serving as the Chairman of the Regional Studies Department at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies.
After retirement from the Marine Corps, Mr. Forte worked as Strategic Debriefer at the Defense Intelligence Agency with a focus on Chinese defense developments. He has received extensive HUMINT training and holds two master’s degrees; one in International Security Studies from the Naval War College and the other in Human Resources Management from Pepperdine University.
