Ed Francis is a Research Associate with DGI’s Center for Intelligence Research and Analysis. His recent work has focused on China’s high technology industries, and historical and contemporary Chinese defense industry reforms.

Mr. Francis received a B.A. degree in Chinese and Political Science from Middlebury College. He holds certificates in Advanced Chinese Studies from the Beijing Institute of Education and Harbin Institute of Technology.
