Technology Assessment for WMD Defense
 Beginning months before the actual 911-Bio demonstrations, our DGI team applied its technical expertise to assess promising chemical and biological detection and identification technologies under development by the U.S defense laboratories, national laboratories, universities and private industry for inclusion in the 911-Bio ACTD. Our participation in this ACTD, as well as the Joint Biological Remote Early Warning System (JBREWS) and Portal Shield ACTDs, which focused on the development and deployment of various biological detection systems, demonstrated DGI’s ability to provide effective technical assessment and program management strategies for technology development and application efforts. In this coordination role, we amassed an in-depth experience and understanding of Consequence Management capabilities, leading to development of the CoBRA Consequence Management Toolset. |
