Signal Processing—Noise Removal from Speech In the ever growing markets of voice telecommunications, computer speech recognition and other audio media, there is a need to reduce the effects of noise. This need is increasing with greater use of computer speech recognition, audio from noisy environments and speech compression technology. DGI has developed advanced methods for processing noisy audio containing speech and other signals, by removing the noise while preserving the desired signals. In comparison with methods from other sources, the DGI processing has been uniformly found to give superior performance. Under test conducted with many commercial speech recognition systems, it has been shown to significantly improve the performance of such systems under all conditions. A patent application for this technology has been submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. |
